July 29, 2011 And what is the busy author working on this summer? Copy edits on AN AFFAIR WITH MR. KENNEDY almost off my plate. Some revision/edits on THE CARNAL SINS OF RAPHAEL due by Labor Day––then I go back to writing A VERY PRIVATE DUEL WITH MR. GUNN: Up in an airship with Finn as he pursues a beautiful, dangerous anarchist.

I was spending an idle hour liking and friending the other day and ran across this beast. Yes,
the one to the right smoking a Camel or is that
a Gauloises? Who knew Facebook could be this interesting? This is a Cyberpunk romance
novel waiting to be written. The muse is musing again.

Cutter Coppersmith:
time thief, inventor of elemental ooze and hero in the making. Readers will meet him in the third episode of the Phaeton Black series The Miss Education of Doctor Exeter A brilliant young scientist and cruelly wounded warrior, Cutter wears a mechanical brace and walks with a slight, but perceptible limp. He uses a voice booster device to enhance damaged vocal chords.

“Stone's taut mystery/romance sets the stage for her Gentlemen of Scotland Yard series. The sexy smart characters will appeal to modern readers as much as the suspense. Their repartee heats up the pages, promising a treat for readers."

ComiCon 2011 Guillermo Del Toro on his reputation as a filmmaker: “I don’t think I’m a household name director. I think I’m an acquired taste. When I come here, it’s fantastic, but I don’t buy that illusion. I’m really a freak every place I go. I don’t quite fit in the independent scene, I don’t quite fit in the art scene, and I don’t fit in the Hollywood scene. I’m a weird, strange, fat motherf—er, and I plan to stay that way.”

    RT REVIEWS TOP PICK
This book almost defies categorization, combining elements of steampunk, erotica, paranormal romance, and mystery. The atmospheric Victorian London setting has a dark Gothic feel with ancient gods on the loose. The writing is witty, the characters delightful, the descriptions vivid and the sex earthy and erotic.

October 8, 2012 “We never miss an episode of Parenthood as the Braverman's navigate the ins and outs of raising a family. And we never miss a Phaeton Black book. So it only makes sense that Joy Bryant would make appearances on both the TV show and on the cover of the newest Jillian Stone novel.”

SoCal RWA Regional Conference

Sunday, March 17, 2013 Very excited to be  a part of the conference. I'll be doing a world building workshop with Linda Thomas-Sundstrom, and a panel on Steampunk with Zoe Archer and Nico Russo. I will also be signing on Sunday, March 17 from 1:00 to 2:30. Hope to see some of you there!
Swag for the conference will feature the postcard above, promoting the release of The Miss Education of Dr. Exeter. Get ready for a moody tale of forbidden passion, romance and daring adventure. This is the third installment in the Phaeton Black series. Wildly sensuous and darkly erotic––Mia and Exeter surprised even me––their love story just took over! LOL!

Swag Collectors: Gentlemen of Scotland Yard and Phaeton Black buttons will also be available at the conference.
